On Paper Requirements - Part 2

Finally our CENOMARs (and Jay's NSO authenticated Birth Certificate) are already in our moms' hands. We ordered it via e-census online and paid thru BDO online banking. Jay's mom received the copies after 3 days while mama got mine after 5 days. We're all set for our marriage license application in October! Yey! =)

Updates! Updates!

Hi friends! It's been so long (2 weeks?) since my last post. I've been busy with work and preps but anyway i'd like to give some updates. Just a quick one, my boss might catch me. :D

1. July 6, 2011 - Some rashes appeared and my right hand had been excruciatingly painful. I went to the clinic right away and the GP told me I've got shingles (reactivated chicken pox) this is due to my weakened immune system. But thank God for his grace, the rashes dried up before I flew back to Philippines. Anyway I've got one cool blister in my hand. I love how it was shaped. It seemed my nerves knew i'm inlove :D

I'm now into religiously taking vitamins everyday to boost up my immune system.I won't let my body get sick again especially my big day is getting near!

2. July 13, 2011 - I flew back to Philippines. While I was in the plane I was contemplating on whether to hug Jay or not.. :D shingles is contagious and I didn't want him to feel what I have felt. But the moment I saw him,  ahhh.. I just wanted to hug him! So there.. haha! Anyway I was in a long sleeve + jacket and I had my rashes covered with a band aid (shingles can only infect when being touched directly).

3. July 14, 2011 PM to July 15, 2011 AM - we went to my home province for our scheduled counseling with the pastor the following day. It was an 8-hour journey, imagine how exhausted am I! But I've got Jesus, He had me sustained :) I was happy to finally see my mom and my little brother who didn't want to skip his classes just to be with me..LOL. Anyway Ron, my younger brother had to travel 2 hours from his dorm just to catch me. (i'm touched). We chatted for only about 20 minutes since we had to leave for the counseling. :(

4. July 15, 2001 PM - we met mommy Mercy (my auntie)  at Jollibee (Santiago City) and had our lunch at hmmm..i don't know where..hehe.. since we didn't know the way to the church she had to accompany us. Thank you mommy! And oh, thank you for the red eggs too! We loved it! :)

Ptra Quincy Bonus-Fermin was the one who did the counseling. It took only for about an hour but I was happy, I've learned so much and gained so much wisdom from it. One of the things i've learned is that Love is like a triangle -- with God at the top, and Jay and I at the bottom sides. And as we draw closer to God, we also draw closer to each other.

Er wait..! Prior to the counseling, Ptra Quincy gave us a 2-page questionnaire. The questions are written in Tagalog, but mind you, they're mind-boggling. We had to answer them all, else Pastora would think we are not ready to settle yet. :)

Jay won't show me his answers! :(

5. July 16, 2011 - We went to Laguna to visit some of our principal sponsors who happened to be Jay's relatives. Was happy to finally meet some members of his clan :)

6. July 17, 2011 - I finally checked my salary letter. Was having troubles opening the zip file before. I was really really happy with the result (and increase). And yes, I was promoted! I am now a Senior Application Developer. Yehey! God never failed to surprise me. Thank you Lord for this early wedding gift! =)

We also dropped by in La Castellana to settle the 50% down payment of the wedding package we availed.

Here's Jay waiting for the printed contract =)

There was an event and the crews were in Hizon's uniform so I decided to peek and take a photo of their set up.

7. July 18, 2011 - I arrived here in Singapore safely. I was really tired but I had to work since I've got a lot of catch ups to do in my new project.

There done! Back to work! =)

On Paper Requirements

My mom sent me an SMS last night telling me that she already received my NSO authenticated birth certificate. I ordered 2 copies from NSO website last June 20 and paid thru BDO online banking. I received the payment confirmation after 2 days. It took them another 8 working days to get the requested papers delivered. The cost is quite pricey, i paid P630 for 2 copies, but it definitely saved me from so much hassle of personally going and queuing at their branch office. It's really convenient and reliable.

You may want to check their website for more info: Click!

Swollen Right Hand

I wanted to start our invitation design tonight but my swollen hand doesn't permit me to do so. I also have no idea how did it swell. I just felt a sudden pain last friday. I went to the clinic an hour ago and the doctor gave me some painkiller and cream. I pray the meds will take effect soon.

Isaiah 53:5 said 'But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed'

...and I claim that I am healed

I've been sick this week

Last Tuesday afternoon I felt an unusual pain at the lower back of my head. After a while I was already palpitating so I hastily went to the clinic near my office. The doctor checked my blood pressure and it was 120/80. I normally have 90/70 BP so there was a significant pressure increase but she told me it's still within the normal range so nothing to worry. It still feared me though. Anyway she also scolded me when I told her I have not undergone through ambulatory ECG and 2D Echo yet, which was supposedly due October last year when I was having episodes of heart palpitations.

What I felt according to her is due to stress so she advised me to have some rests. When I went back to my office I called Mona and invited her over dinner. We met at Bugis MRT and munched at Yoshinoya. After Mona's work and lovelife storytelling (haha!) we decided to go home. While buying pasalubong for Aldee (Mona's beau), I felt dizzy and wanted to vomit so I held tight of Mona's hands while she still continues her unending love story (LOL) not knowing of my condition. I was still in that state when we are about to part ways so i decided to tell her everything. She told me to text her if anything happens. Hence I took a cab and asked uncle (the taxi driver) to drop me off at the clinic near my house. The GP told me to relax and gave me a muscle relaxant, fever and pain and anti-giddiness and vomiting tablest and a medical certificate so I could rest the following day. I am alone for 2 weeks so Jay asked me to call Mona to accompany me that night.

It felt that I rode in a roller coaster the days after. I couldn't stand for long time because I was giddy, I easily got tired and last night I had a fever and a 30-second chest pain.

I feel better now and I want to thank the Lord. His goodness has truly sustained me. I've always felt better after praying. But I know that He wants to teach me something here. I realized that He wanted to correct my habits - He wants me to watch what I eat (I've been eating fried and fatty foods lately, not to mention that I also consume fast foods at regular basis) and He also wanted me to put right my sleeping patterns (I usually sleep at around 1 to 2 am and would wake at 2 pm during weekends). My mind also has suppressed a lot of thoughts recently-about my work, the wedding, my family back home, the future-some are excitements, some are fears, some are disappointments. I was keeping all of them until they all gushed out. It saddens me to think that I had to undergo through all of these when I have my God - I have my big God who could push me up and save from being drowned. I admit that sometimes I forget to share my thoughts and completely give my loads to Him. Sometimes I would just filter what to pass to Him and I learned that the Lord doesn't love the idea. He desires for a complete submission so He could fully control everything.

I also want to thank Jay. I don't want to sound bias here but I want to give him the best fiance/boyfriend/husband-to-be award. I've been alone for 2 weeks (my relatives flew back to Philippines for a 2-week vacay) but I never felt unaccompanied. He never failed to check on me and make sure I am out of harm's way (he also had to watch me sleeping via skype). I love him more than ever. I always thank the Lord for his life, and I believe he'll be the best husband I could ever have. :-)

Honeymoon Destination - Checked!

I've been on the search for our honeymoon destination since last week. Ya know, shaking off my head with all the wedding preparation headaches.. I was in constant communication with one of the owners of DJEF Travel Agency who also happened to be a college classmate and friend, Gail asking infos about their current packages (thanks Gail, two thumbs up for the customer service skills!). This afternoon I was still contemplating between their Palawan and Boracay Package when kuya (i should practice calling him ninong) Joseph suddenly pinged me asking about our friday gimik. Then out of the blue he popped up the Q: "San kayo maghohoneymoon?" I replied that we are still thinking about it. He told me he wanted to offer his unit in boracay but it is taken until May 2012 so he'll just pay our accommodation. I am honestly not comfortable in receiving such huge gifts, oh well except for my engagement ring  but I must admit that we will save up a big amount with this huge slash on the wedding budget. And it is a blessing, so to cut the story short I/We accepted the gift. I am actually overwhelmed until now, at the moment I'm more excited on the Boracay get-away more than anything else..hahaha! Thank you so much kuya Joseph! You're such a blessing. *sniff..sniff..*

And now ladies and gents, here's our official honeymoon destination (btw according to him we are occupying the beachfront room..wow, thank you Lord for this blessing!)

Dresses for our little girls

I was able to finish my task early today so I had the luxury of time to search for the dresses of our flower girls. I am leaning towards the tea length size since the kids might trip up with the floor length gowns.

Here are my choices (all photos were grabbed from google)
